Gumasa Beach - The Small Boracay of Mindanao

GLAN, Sarangani - Fun for these ladies is lazing around the crystal-clear waters of Gumasa over the weekend with the fine white-sand beach in the background. Barangay Gumasa has a six kilometer-long crescent beach on Sarangani's eastern shore and only about an hour's drive from General Santos City.

Gumasa Beach, others called this the Small Boracay of Mindanao or Boracay of South, whatever name herein is the beauty of the beach. The white sand and fine crystal land makes your feet comportable to walk around the beach.

Lake Sebu, South Cotabato - the natural lake of Mindanao

Lake Sebu is a natural lake located in the municipality of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato
and within the Alah Valley region. The Philippine government has recognized it as one of the country's most important watersheds. Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water supplying important irrigation to the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato.


The villages around the lake have been turned into an independent municipality called Lake Sebu after being a former village of Surallah.

Matutum Volcano - Polomolok, South Cotabato

Matutum is located in the province of South Cotabato, on the island of Mindanao, in the south of the Philippines, at geographical coordinates 6°22'N, 125°06.5'E.[2]

It is 15 km north of Polomolok, and about 30 km north-northwest of General Santos City.

MAITUM, Sarangani (January 6, 2009) – Tboli children dance and socialize with one another at the L’muog Festival celebrated every year for three years now by the Tbolis in Maitum at the Kalaong River estuary. In the olden days, Tbolis stay in the riverbank for two to three days not only to gather food but also to meditate, pray, and give thanks for the blessings they receive.
