First announced back in January, the LG K10 is positioned as an entry to mid-level smartphone by the Korean company. We managed to get a quick hands-on of the device yesterday during the LG InnoFest here in Seoul.

For the Asian market, including the Philippines, LG is going to release the LTE model which has the following configurations.

LG K10 specs:
5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch display, 277ppi
2.5D Arc-Shaped Glass Pebble Design
1.4GHz octa-core CPU
1GB, 1.5GB and 2GB RAM
8GB, 16GB internal storage
4G LTE
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooh 4.0
13MP rear camera
5MP front-facing camera
Gesture Shot, Tap and Shot, Gesture Interval Shot, Flash for Selfie
2,300mAh removable Li-Ion battery
Android 5.1 Lollipop
146 x 74.8 x 8.8mm
White, Indigo, Gold

The LG K10 is reminiscent of the very popular LG G2 a couple years back. It has the same sleek look and rounded corners minus all the physical buttons on the sides. The signature Rear Key is present along with the volume controls and the 13MP camera at the back.

The polycarbonate body has a polished finish at the front but textured at the back with the removable panel to expose the battery, micro-SIM card and microSD card slots.

The display has a 2.5D arc-shaped glass pebble design that slightly curves towards the sides. It’s somehting we’ve already seen before with the like of the Huawei G8.

What’s also interesting is that the flip cover that comes with the LG K10 has a semi-transparent section on the right side that shows partial information from the display even when it is closed. It’s the same principle as the Smart Window Cover of many flagship brands but this time it’s positioned along the side.

LG has not indicated when they will release the K10 in the Philippines.
