A POLICE officer, who ended up in jail after he was allegedly caught snitching P6,000 worth of cash from a detainee's wallet, is facing charges before the City Prosecution Office.
Charged with qualified theft is Senior Police Officer (SPO2) Allan Gonzales Escuadra, the jailer on-duty at Talomo police during the incident, while the detainee was identified as Edel Amad Yballo.
Yballo was earlier detained at the station after he was arrested for allegedly attacking a jeepney driver with a sword.
