THE National Nutrition Council (NNC) in Davao Region noted a 5.44 percent decrease on the prevalence rate of the underweight and severely underweight children aged zero to 71 months old from January to March in 2015 as compared to the same period last 2014 with 6.14 percent.
NNC Davao director Ma. Teresa Ungson said the council collected information from January to March used as baseline data for the entire year.
