Butuan – Policemen showed off their skills and its operational readiness in the ongoing Annual General Inspection-Operational Readiness Security Inspection Test at Camp Rafael Rodriguez in their effort to win an award.

The evaluation of a week long AGI-ORSITE is an activity conducted annually by a 5 team from the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) of the Philippine National Police headed by Police Chief Supt. Victor Agarcio to all police personnel and PNP units in determining their level of competence in performing their duties and responsibilities as law enforcers.

AGI-ORSITE Assistant Team Leader Police Senior Supt. Eduardo Octaviano Jr emphasized the importance of the “Mamang Pulis Tamang Bihis” to project professionalism in yesterdays’ one-on-one inspection.IMG_0583

“I believe we have done everything we can, it is now with the inspection team who will determine what we truly deserve. Policemen and women in Caraga Region strive hard to achieve excellence and all concerted efforts to surpass our previous accomplishments are a big challenge that motivates every one,” said Police Regional Director Lino Calingasan.

PIO Chief Police Senior Inspector Nelly Villagarcia in an interview said that different scenarios will be demonstrated like the PRO 13’s camp defense plan, fire plan, low risk and high risk checkpoint scenarios, hostage negotiation, first-aid test, civil disturbance management, bomb disposal test, close quarter battle, crime scene investigation, mobility test, immediate action drill, arrest-search and handcuffing techniques, communication test, response time, sniping test and bank robbery test, to assess the abilities, preparedness and efficiency of the police personnel.

Meanwhile, Police Chief Supt. Lino Calingasan is hoping, the Inspecting Team will announce a high passing mark for PRO 13 during the scheduled exit briefing on Friday.
