A Philippine Army 6X6 truck carrying soldiers was ambushed by MILF mujahideen guerrillas at around 8:30 am, yesterday, November 10, at Barangay Sumugot, Bumbaran Municipality, Lanao del Sur. According to a luwaran reporter, the ambushed took place after a fierce gunbattle between MILF and government forces.
